Director Sooraj Barjatya's Bollywood movie "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" (PRDP) starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor in the lead roles has received mixed reviews from the audience.

"Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" is a romantic drama film, which has been written and directed by Sooraj Barjatya. This much-talked about family entertainer revolves around the story of a charitable, happy-go-lucky man Prem, who embarks on a mission to meet a generous princess Maithili, who helps people.

Superstar Salman Khan has played the role of Prem in "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo". Actress Sonam Kapoor, who is paired up with Salman for the first time, has essayed the role of Maithili. Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anupam Kher, Armaan Kohli, Swara Bhaskar, Aashika Bhatia, Deepak Dobriyal and Sanjay Mishra are in the supporting cast. All the actors have delivered fantastic performances, say the audience.

Besides scoring music for its soundtracks, Himesh Reshammiya has also composed background score for "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" with Sanjoy Chowdhury, while V Manikandan cranked camera. The movie has brilliant production values. The amazing music, picturisation, well choreography of dance, brilliant art direction, beautiful costumes and exotic locales are big attractions in the technical front. But its slow paced narrationa and too many songs mar the beauty of the film, add viewers.

Half way through #PRDP Bored out of my mind. Why the hell r there so many songs. Salman is over doing his goody boy act.Hope better 2nd half Visually its all nice and grand. But its so damn cheesy and Sonam kapoor irritates more than ever. Sallu bhai should have signed Deepika Didn't think i'd see so much action in a Sooraj Barjatya movie. Why they chose her i don't know. Too many songs. Unrealistic plot solutions. Bajrangi is best of 2015 Ok maybe I'm being harsh cuz of my high expectations. PRDP is boring.
