Bollywood actor Salman Khan celebrated his father Salim Khan's 80th birthday on 24 November.

As everyone knows that Salman is very close to his family and thus, makes sure to be a part of every family celebration.

On the other hand, father Salim has been a great support for his sons, Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail, since the beginning.

To capture the celebration, Salman clicked a "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" moment with his father and brothers.

Like his latest film on family values and love, the actor showed his family's bond in a selfie, which was later posted on Instagram by Arbaaz.

Arbaaz captioned the picture as: "My dad turns 80 today Wish him good health and happiness always. My dad means everything to me and my family , we all love him and respect him immensely. He's been the pillar of strength and inspiration to us all. May allah give him a long life love you dad ❤️"

Even, Salman's birthday is the next month, on 27 December. Will it be a star studded affair or a small celebration with family and close friends? Only time will tell.

Currently, the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" actor is riding high on the success he achieved this year. Both of his films turned out to be blockbuster hits and he became the only actor to have crossed the Rs 500 crore mark in a year.

The "Bigg Boss" host will next be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar directorial "Sultan", which is set to be released on Eid 2016.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, "Sultan" will present Salman in the role of a wrestler from Haryana.

For his role, the actor has to gain 94kgs weight and then has to come down to 70kgs.
