The first look of "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor, appears to be inspired from the blockbuster movie "Hum Aapke Hain Koun".
The first look poster of "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" became an instant hit as it replicated Salman's iconic character of 'Prem' in "Hum Aapke Hain Koun". However, it seems the makers of the movie have replicated the poster too.
Both the films have been directed by Sooraj Barjatya and while "Hum Aapke Hain Koun" featured Salman and Madhuri, "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" will present Sonam with the superstar.
The common factors between "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" and "Hum Aapke Hain Koun" are Salman, his character's name, the director and also the production company. However, the first look poster of the upcoming movie also apparently is similar to "Hum Aapke Hain Koun".
One of the posters of the 1994 blockbuster showed Salman leaning towars Madhuri and looking at his ladylove with affection. The first look poster of "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" also presents the characters in similar positions, only with Sonam replacing Madhuri.
Salman will reportedly have double roles in "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", 'Prem' being a prince and 'Vijay' being a fighter. Apart from their brief presence together in "Saawariya", this will be the first time that Salman will be romancing Sonam on-screen.
The movie is slated to be released on 12 November.
