Bollywood actress Preity Zinta will soon get married to boyfriend Gene Goodenough, MissMalini.com reports. Though the actress denied the reports calling it "manufactured news," her spokesperson confirmed the same to the entertainment portal.
Preity will tie the knot with Los Angeles-based boyfriend in March or April as per Hindu and Christian customs and will donate the money raised from the wedding pictures to charity.
"The power couple have decided to direct all the hype and anticipation surrounding their wedding into a charitable cause. They will be putting their private wedding images up for auction and the proceeds generated out of these will go towards the Preity Zinta Foundation," Preity spokesperson confirmed the news to MissMalini.com.
"Preity's foundation works towards educating children and old age home rehabilitation. Preity has been involved in several charitable initiatives but has never spoken about it since she is an extremely private person. However, both she and Gene wanted to celebrate this joyous moment in their lives by giving back to society in their own little way."
The dates have not been decided yet, but the wedding will be held in either March or April. The wedding will be a private affair with only family members and close friends of the couple attending it. The couple will first tie the knot in the US, followed by a Rajput wedding in Mumbai.
"The LA wedding will most probably be followed by a Rajput wedding ceremony in Mumbai. Since Preity has worked with the biggest stars in Bollywood, and continues to remain close friends with many of them, she plans to host a big celebration in the city, where B-Town celebrities will be invited," Hindustan Times quoted a source as saying.
