The finalists of the show were Pranav Sasidharan, Saniya Iyappan, Fida Ashraf, Suhaid Kukku and Arjun Krishna Nair. With the announcement of the results on Sunday by actor Dileep, it appears many fans of the show are disappointed with the show's results.

IBTimes India had recently conducted a poll asking fans "Who Must be Winner of D2 - D4 Dance Show".
Out of 724 people who participated in the poll, about 60.08% respondents wanted Kukku to win the show, who was leading till the finale; only 20.58% respondents wanted were in favour of Pranav.

After winning the title, Pranav thanked the judges – Prasanna Sujit, Neerav Bavlecha and Priyamani – and show hosts Govind Padmasoorya and Pearle Maaney, crew members of the show as well as his well wishers for supporting and motivating him throughout the nine months of his journey on "D2 - D4 Dance".
"For all the haters i have made in these 9 months- thank you for motivating me to do by best...If we fall 2 steps back then we shall push ourselves 4 steps ahead..i learned:') love you all....," Pranav posted on his Facebook page.
