The second teaser of AL Vijay's directorial venture, "Devi(L)," was released on Monday, Aug. 1. It is a short clip that throws light on Tamannaah Bhatia's character in the upcoming multilingual movie.
Prabhu Deva released it online and tweeted, "Here it is ! @tamannaahspeaks scorch the screen with her amazing moves in @devitamilmovie #Teaser2 #Devi. [sic]" Tamannaah Bhatia has displayed her dancing skills in the teaser.
She looks glamorous in the teaser and her avatar and dancing skills have been highly appreciated by the netizens. But people were expecting the video to give an outline of the story. However, the clip does not give any hint about the subject.
The second teaser clearly indicates that the film will showcase her dancing skills. Going by the promotions, it is clear that the 26-year old actress has a powerful role in the movie.
Earlier, a video clip in which the actress was seen dancing was unveiled online by Prabhu Deva. The video showed Tamannaah rehearsing for a dance sequence in "Devi(L)," and had gone viral.
The first teaser was released last month, and met with good response. The clip showed Prabhu Deva and Amy Jackson, who is doing a cameo in the film.
"Devi (L)" is being simultaneously made in three languages — Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. While the Tollywood version has been named "Abhinetri," the name of the Hindi version is yet to be finalised.
The upcoming film is written and directed by AL Vijay, who was recently in news over his split with his actress-wife Amala Paul. "Devi(L)" is a horror thriller, which has Prabhu Deva and Sonu Sood in key roles.
Famous Bollywood choreographer Farah Khan will also be doing a cameo in the film, which features Manush Nandan's cinematography and Anthony's editing. Interestingly, the makers have signed up two musicians to compose music for South Indian and Hindi film songs.
While GV Prakash Kumar will score the music for the Tamil and Telugu versions, Sajid-Wajid will compose songs for the Bollywood version of "Devi(L)."
The movie will hit the screens in September 2016.
