Prabhas-Anushka Shetty's magnum opus "Baahubali" (Part 1) will be releasing during 2015 summer holidays, according to latest reports. It is expected to hit the screens on the tentative release date of 17 April.
The second part of the film is expected to be out during Sankranti festival period in 2016.
Directed by Rajamouli, "Baahubali" is an historical epic drama with Prabhas playing the title role. Anushka appears as Devasena, while Rana Daggubati plays the role of Bhallala Deva in the film. The epic drama also boasts of an ensemble cast including Nassar, Sathyaraj, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and Adivi Sesh among others. Sudeep of "Eega" fame is reportedly doing a cameo in the film.
"Baahubali" is being simultaneously made in Tamil as "Mahabali." Expectations are sky high for the film as Rajamouli has several hit projects to his credit including "Magadheera," "Chatrapathi" and "Eega." The presence of star actors like Prabhas and Anushka has generated huge expectations surrounding the project.
The makers of "Baahubali" have already released the making trailer of the film, thus revealing the looks of Prabhas, Rana and Anushka.
They have also unveiled a few other making videos like "How to climb an elephant", "A glimpse into their one year journey" and "Exam Tips" among others. The videos have received tremendous response from the fans and have also raised the hype about the big-budget entertainer.
The shooting of "Baahubali" is progressing well in Hyderabad. Fans have been eagerly looking forward for a new teaser from the makers. They had expected that a video will be released for Rajamouli's birthday on 10 October. However, no teaser was released much to the disappointment of the fans.

BUT..... as much as we would all like to see a teaser or another making video, we won't be able to release one soon.. #Baahubali," Shobu Yarlagadda", producer of "Baahubali," tweeted.
"I can promise one thing..when we do release the teaser nonen of you will disappointed !! #Baahubali," he said.
The film's music is composed by MM Keeravani, while cinematography is handled by KK Senthil Kumar. Produced by Arka Media Works, "Baahubali" is reportedly made with a budget of ₹100 crore.
