The makers of Baahubali actor Prabhas' Saaho have finally confirmed its release date. The buzz in the industry claims that Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is out of box office race during Independence Day.
Saaho is one of the most awaited Indian movies and its ensemble cast and production elements featured in its teaser. The fans of the Baahubali star were desperately waiting to know about its release date and there were several speculations about it doing rounds on social media.
Now, the makers of Saaho have put an end to all those rumours. Producer Srinivas aka SKN tweeted, "Its showtime! Magnum opus #Saaho releasing worldwide on 15th Aug, 2019. #Prabhas @ShraddhaKapoor @NeilNMukesh @bindasbhidu @arunvijayno1 @sujeethsign @UV_Creations @TSeries #SaahoOnAug15th"
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a historical war drama that is about a freedom fighter. It was recently rumoured that the makers were considering on releasing it on August 15, as it suits the sentiment of the Independence Day. Megastar Chiranjeevi was leaving no stone unturned to wrap it on time.
Chiranjeevi was said to put extra efforts to wrap up the shooting of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy by the end of May 2019. A source had said, "The film is about freedom fighter Narasimha Reddy, so Chiru thought that it would be good to release the film at that time."
On the other hand, it was alsp rumoured that the makers of Saaho were eyeing on August 15 for its release, but they were not interested in a clash with Sye Raa. "But they don't want to compete with Chiru, though they will be able to complete the film. If Chiru announces August 15 as his release date, Prabhas would then adjust his film's release date before or after it," added the source.
