"Baahubali-The Beginning" (Bahubali) has added another feather to its cap by beating "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" in the race for world TV premiere viewership.
TAM Media Research has issued a list of top 10 Hindi movies with the highest world TV premiere viewership (TVR) from 2010 to 2015.
Although "Baahubali" starring Prabhas could not claim the first slot in the list, it has scored more than Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".
According to the TAM report, the Hindi version of "Baahubali", which was screened on Sony Max, has earned 6.85% of world TV viewership (TVR), while "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" got 6.80%, having been screened on Star Gold. Aamir Khan starrer "3 Idiots" (2010) still holds the top position in the list.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, the Hindi version of "Baahubali" failed to cross "Bajrangi Bhaijaan"s TRP ratings but it has balanced the battle by doing better in the world TV premiere viewership race.
Both "Baahubali" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" were blockbusters with several records in their kitty. As both the movies were released in the same year (2015), the movies are often compared with each other.
Directed by Kabir Khan, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" featured Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Harshaali Malhotra in key roles along with Salman. SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali" starred Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, among others.
