Power star Pawan Kalyan has finally taken a break from his political activities and joined the unit for the shooting of his much-awaited movie, Katamarayudu on September 26.
Pawan Kalyan had announced Katamarayudu as his next movie weeks after the release of his last outing, Sardaar Gabbar Singh. But he went busy with his fight for the special category status for Andhra Pradesh and started touring the state. His political activism led to several speculations about the production of the movie.
Finally, putting an end to all the rumours, Sharrath Marar, who is producing Katamarayudu, started the filming of the movie on September 21. The Sardaar Gabbar Singh producer tweeted: "#Katamarayudu shooting commenced today. It was a pleasure to watch confident and clear Director Dolly in action. #PSPK #PawanKalyan."
It was rumoured that Pawan Kalyan would take some time off his busy political schedule and begin filming for Katamarayudu from Sunday, September 25. However, Sharrath Marar confirmed that he has joined the team on Monday. This morning, the producer posted the photo of the actor and wrote: "#Katamarayudu arrives...#PawanKalyan #PSPK."
Katamarayudu is said to be an official remake of Ajith's blockbuster Tamil movie, Veeram. Pawan Kalyan will be seen romancing actress Shruti Haasan in the movie. Besides playing the lead role, the power star is also bankrolling the film with his friend Sharrath Marar. Dolly aka Kishore Kumar Pardasani is teaming up with the actor once again, after Gopala Gopala.
