Popular Actress Urvashi Enters into Wedlock Again

Popular actress Urvashi has reportedly tied the knot once again. The actress has reportedly married Shivaprasad, a Chennai-based businessman.

Shivaprasad, who runs a construction company in Chennai, is said to be a close friend of Urvashi's brother Kamal.

It seems that the versatile actress tied the knot a few months ago in a low-key affair, but revealed it only now in an exclusive interview with Kerala-based Vanitha magazine.

"Shivan Chettan is a close friend of my brother Kamal. He has been our family friend for years... (He is) like a relative who knows everything about the family," said Urvashi, according to manoramaonline.

In 2000, Urvashi married Malayalam actor Manoj K Jayan but they both parted ways in 2008. After the couple divorced, Urvashi was back to doing films and television shows.

Manoj, who was reportedly leading a lonely life, entered into wedlock once again with a girl named Asha in 2011 and they have a son. His daughter, from his marriage with Urvashi, is also reportedly staying with him.

It is being said that the actress had sought permission from her daughter before tying the knot with Shivaprasad.

Urvashi was a prominent leading actress in 1980s and 90s. She has starred in several films in various languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. The actress is well-known for her humorous characters in films.

She is currently working in Kamal Haasan's "Uthama Villain," directed by Ramesh Aravind. The talented actress is playing the role of Kamal's wife in the film, which is set to hit the screens this year.
