Poonam Pandey Debuts in Telugu Film Malini & Co: See her Hot First Look Photos

Model Poonam Pandey, who started her acting career with the Bollywood film Nasha, is now foraying into Tollywood with the movie "Malini & Co". Her first look in the film, which was released in November, looks hot and sensuous.

Set in the backdrop of terrorism, "Malini & Co" is touted to be an action entertainer, which has been written and directed by Veeru K and produced by Mahesh Rathi. The movie has been shot in Hyderabad and Vizag and cinematographer Ram Prasad has handled the camera work for it.

Poonam Pandey is playing a masseuse in "Malini & Co". The actress, who hogged the limelight with her bikini photos and raunchy videos, says that her debut Telugu film features some sensuous scenes. "Since I'm playing the role of a masseuse, there are bound to be plenty of bold scenes; however, the film is an action drama set in the backdrop of terrorism," The Times of India quotes her as saying.

The model-turned-actress says that she has a meaty role in "Malini & Co". "I have a lot more to offer than just erotic videos. And my upcoming Telugu film will be an answer to everyone who thinks that I can't push myself to do more. I did get couple of offers in Telugu in the past, but when I was approached for this film, I was quite pleased with the meaty role I was offered," said Poonam.

It is reported that Pandey has already completed shooting for "Malini & Co" and is now eagerly waiting the release of the film. She says that she enjoyed shooting for the film. "I had a great time shooting in Hyderabad. Initially, I did have a tough time with learning my dialogues in Telugu, but it wasn't as tough as people told me it would be," adds the actress.

The actress first made it to the headlines after she promised to strip if the Indian Cricket team won the World Cup. She kept the interest going by posting hot bikini photos and videos on her Twitter and Facebook pages. She was expecting a big break from her debut film "Nasha", but it did not happen. Later, she also did an item song for a Kannada film.
