Television celebrity Pooja Misrra has filed a police complaint against unknown person for molesting and sexually assaulting her. The "Bigg Boss 5" contestant in her complaint alleged that she was offered a drink mixed with drugs, due to which she fell asleep.
Pooja further mentioned that when she woke up the next day she felt she had been molested. The incident took place in Udaipur, Rajasthan, when she was in the city for a calendar shoot related event.
"After having dinner at the hotel, I was offered a drink. After drinking it I returned to my room where and went into a deep sleep. When I got up in the morning I felt that I was molested and sexually assaulted," she said in her complaint filed on Wednesday, according to IANS.
"We have registered a case under sections 354 and 379 of the IPC and have conducted medical examination of her. The report is likely to come by tomorrow," a police official told IANS on phone.
Pooja also accused some Hindi film industry actors and businessmen in her complaint stating that they had been conspiring against her for the last 10 years.
Earlier, Pooja sued the makers of "Farah Ki Daawat" stating that the show was originally her idea. The cookery show featuring filmmaker Farah Khan airs on Colors TV.
Pooja in a legal notice accused Colors TV of plagiarising her idea.
"All boundaries of professionalism and decency were crossed when Colors went ahead and plagiarized Pooja Misrra Productions 'maiden cookery show, written, directed, produced and anchored by my client herself by putting on air, Farah Khan ki Dawat... Even the sponsor Videocon had approached Pooja Misrra Productions for sponsorship for her cookery show however was shamelessly roped in by Colors for 'Farah Khan ki Dawat'. Now ever since the inception of Colors we have not seen a cookery show on the prime time slot, so its crystal clear that Farah Khan ki Dawat was plagiarised from, Pooja Misrra Productions' cookery show which will soon be airing on a New York based food channel."
