Raipur, Nov 13 (ANI): Political leaders on Thursday
demanded resignation of Chhattisgarh Health Minister Amar
Agarwal after more than a dozen women died at a mass
sterilisation camp. The leaders also demanded quick
judicial inquiry in the case. Congress leader Shobha Ojha,
said a proper investigation should be conducted into the
matter. Meanwhile, NCP leader Majeed Memon, seconded Ojha
and also demanded thorough action in the case. However,
BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said the government of
Chhattisgarh has taken appropriate and exemplary action in
the case. A police case against the doctor for causing
death by negligence was filed in Bilaspur and he was
arrested by the state police on Wednesday.
