Dhaka, Dec 08 (ANI): Violence gripped Bangladesh as protests and a series of shutdowns with transport blockades led by the main opposition party BNP, demanding next year's election be held under a non-party administration, took a toll on the country's economic growth. A human rights activist in Bangladesh, Khushi Kabir in Dhaka held BNP responsible for their irresponsible programmes sparking violence in the country. Commenting over political uncertainty, Kabir said that a non-party caretaker government was not the solution. Trading guns at Jamaat-e-Islami, Kabir said that the leaders of the Islamist party should also be arrested.
