Kareena Kapoor Khan arranged a special private screening of her movie "Ki and Ka" at her residence Monday. After the screening, Kareena and her B-Town friends got into the party mood and that reportedly led the police to make a visit at the actress' house.
The private screening of "Ki and Ka" at Kareena's house was attended by Bollywood celebrities like Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao, Kareena's sister Karisma Kapoor, Amrita Arora and Karan Johar.
Following the special screening of the film, Kareena and the other celebrities started partying at the "Ki and Ka" actress' house, which continued till the early hours of Tuesday. However, neighbours of the actress complained to the police about the loud music, according to Mid Day.
"It was an impromptu bash after the film, Kareena is busy travelling to promote the film. She managed to take a break and was eager to show the movie to her friends. She called some of them over and after watching the film, everyone stayed on to party, [sic]" the report quoted a source as saying.
It added that following the complaint by the neighbours, the police arrived at Kareena's house and the party was stopped for some time and eventually wrapped up. "The cops came after the neighbours complained and the party was halted for a while. However, once the cops informed the actress about the neighbours being disturbed, they turned the volume down and even wrapped up the party in a while. It was no big issue," the source said.
Directed by R Balki, "Ki and Ka" features Arjun Kapoor along with Kareena. The trailer of the film showed a number of kissing scenes between the two stars, who will portray a married couple. Arjun will be seen playing a house-husband and Kareena will appear as an ambitious working wife. The film will hit the screens April 1.
