Police release tribute for slain officer Sgt Steve Owen
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department have released a video in tribute to Sergeant Steve Owen, after his was killed on 5 October. Owen was killed in a calculated execution when responding to a burglary call in Lancaster, California. 27-year-old Trenton Lovell is being held without bail for the shooting of Sgt Owen, as it is alleged he stood over the body of the officer before shooting him four times.
