Gumla, Sep 23 (ANI): Police and the CRPF organized a programme in Maoist hit Gumla district of Jharkhand to motivate the youth to join mainstream and effectively combat the left wing extremism. In a bid to counter the agenda of the Maoists among the local youth, they organised a cycle race with an aim to encourage the youths of the Gumla district. The programme by the CRPF aimed to inculcate a sense of security by developing cordial relations and harnessing co-operation with villagers living in tribal areas.
