Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow, is likely to announce 2015 mains results of examination for recruitment of constables on Wednesday, 15 July.
UP Police Constable Mains Exam 2015 results will be available on the official websites. Candidates, who appeared for the exams can check the merit list or cut-off marks list of selected candidates on uppbpb.gov.in and prpb.gov.in.
For clearing the Police Constable or PET exams, candidates need to score above the cut-off marks, which varies for both male and female candidates. There are 20% reserved seats for women candidates, according to this result website.
Final cut-off marks list for Male Candidates
- General Category – 280 marks and above
- OBC Category – 265 marks and above
- SC/ST Category – 250 marks and above
Final cut-off marks list for Female Candidates
- General Category- 265 marks and above
- OBC Category – 255 marks and above
- SC/ST Category – 235 marks and above
The UP Police Recruitment Board had conducted the mains written exam in December last year. 3,47,175 candidates had appeared for the examination held at 20 centres across the state. Ahead of the mains exam, the board had conducted the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
The candidates who will be selected after clearing these two rounds will be asked to join the training session.
