Police Arrest Malayalam Actor Shine Tom and Models with Cocaine in Kochi

Kerala police have arrested upcoming Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko and four others from a flat in Kadavanthra, Kochi for possession of cocaine.

The "Ithihasa" actor and others were arrested from a flat, which is owned by famous businessman Muhammad Nizam, the owner of Kings group.

Police found more than 10 gm of cocaine, which costs almost ₹10 lakh in an early morning raid, according to Manorama Online.

Among the others arrested is a woman based in Kerala and three others from Karnataka, including assistant director Blessy, models Reshma and Tincy and Dubai Travel Mart owner Sneha.

In a statement to police, the actor has reportedly confessed that he received these drugs from Goa.

The actor, who was last seen in a lead role in "Ithihasa" has acted in some other Malayalam films like "Ee Adutha Kaalath", "Arikil Oraal", "5 Sundarikal" and "Konthayum Poonoolum" among others.

Meanwhile, Nizam was recently in news for allegedly thrashing a security guard and intentionally running his Hummer over him after the guard took a long time to open the gates of a residential township in Thrissur. There are already 10 cases registered against him.
