In celebration of the milestone event in trading of Pokemon online, Pokemon Company has announced that video game, Pokemon X and Y will get a special version Pokemon, the fancy pattern Vivillon.
Since the launch of the game on 12 October, players have traded nearly 100 million Pokemon via Global Trade Station. However, this offer is only for a limited time and players will have to grab it before it expires.
Vivillon is a special bug/flying-type Pokemon that is being offered for free. It is basically a butterfly. It is popular for trading since it has different wing patterns depending on the real-life location of its owner. The company has also said that this particular Pokemon will not be found in the wild in-game and this is one of the opportunities that trainers can use to grab it now. Vivillon will also be equipped with an exclusive Hold Hands move.
How to Get your Free Pokemon?
Follow these instructions below that will guide you to get the free Vivillon Pokemon (Pokemon):
- Connect your Nintendo 3DS system to the Internet.
- Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
- Select Receive Gift, then Yes.
- Select Get Via Internet, then Yes.
- Watch as you receive Fancy Pattern Vivillon!
- Speak to the delivery girl in any Pokemon Center to receive your Vivillon.
- Be sure to save your game!
Pokemon X and Y was developed by Game Freak and is exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.
Meanwhile, Hectic days are ahead for Pokemon fans as a new live orchestral concert tour for fans will begin in August. The concert is titled Pokemon: Symphonic Evolutions. These concerts will feature music from the following:
- Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue, Pokemon Yellow
- Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver, Pokemon Crystal
- Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire, Pokemon Emerald
- Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, Pokemon Platinum
- Pokemon Black and Pokemon White
- Pokemon X and Pokemon Y
The first concert will be held in Washington, D.C. at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on 15 August. The second concert will be in Philadelphia, PA on 19 September at Mann Center for Performing Arts.
Ticket Prices: The first concert will be priced between $50-$82.25 and the second will be between $14.50-$79.50.
Pokemon fans who have missed out on the Japanese merchandise exclusive can now lay their hands on the merchandise on the official online Pokemon Center that will be opening in August.
Also, Pokemon players now have a dedicated Pokemon hub on iTunes. This was announced by The Pokemon Company on 1 July. Players will find all the animated episode and specials including Pokemon video game music. Visit the hub here.
