Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (Pokemon ORAS) from Game Freak is a popular Nintendo 3DS exclusive video game that regularly gets events letting its players catch some of rare Pokemon that are not found in the game otherwise.
Serebii has shared details of a new Hoopa event for Australia and New Zealand, which follows that of the US, the UK and Europe.
The Hoopa event will give players Hoopa, a psychic-type Pokemon with Magician Ability. Players in the mentioned region can head to JB Hi-Fi, EB Games and Big W in Australia and JB Hi-Fi and EB Games in New Zealand stores between 18 January, 2016, and 26 January, 2016, to get the Serial Code card. The Serial Code can be redeemed via both Pokemon X and Y and Pokemon ORAS.
Meanwhile, the announcement for the next Battle Competition has also been made. It is titled 2016 International Challenge January competition. It is a Double Battle competition, inclusive of the VGC rules, which will let players use any two of the box Legendary Pokemon, namely Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde.
The registration process will start form 21 January and go on till 28 January. The competition will start on 29 January and end on 31 January.
All entrants to Battle Competition have been promised 2000 PokeMiles and the top 256 players of every age division will get Championship Points.
Pokemon Shuffle Mega Swampert challenge
The freemium puzzle game that is now on both 3DS and mobile received a new event — Mega Swampert challenge. Players will get a chance to catch Swampertite.
The top 50,000 in Japan, 18,000 in the US and 12,000 in Europe will win a Swampertite. Those in the top 10,000 in Japan, 3,600 in the US or 2,300 in Europe will get a Mega Speedup. Those who do not qualify but are in the top 70,000 in Japan, 24,000 in the US or 16,000 in Europe will get an Attack Power and a Disruption Delay. Other players will get a Jewel.
It will ending on 12 January, 2016. This event will be available on both the devices.
Pokemon Shuffle is also offering players Mega Banette stage to catch Banettite.
Players in the top 100,000 globally will stand to get Banettite. Those players who are in the top 20,000 will get a Mega Speedup. Those players who do not qualify but are in the top 140,000 will earn Mega Speedup and a Jewel. The rest of the players will get a Jewel.
Mega Banette stage will be running till 12 January, 2016.
Tornadus stage is also running until 12 January, 2016, for Pokemon Shuffle users. This is a repeat run.
