Salman Khan, who is busy preparing for his sister Arpita Khan's wedding, will most likely get a chance to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the ceremony.
Earlier this year, the PM had invited both Salman and his father Salim Khan to attend his swearing-in ceremony that was held in Delhi on 26 May. And now, the film writer is all set to invite the PM to his daughter's wedding and wishes that the PM finds time to be his guest.
Confirming the news, Salim told Hindustan Times: "Yes, I will be inviting PM Modi for the wedding, and I hope he can find the time to come for it."
He further mentioned that the wedding will not be a flashy one and instead the family will be keeping it a small and simple affair.
"I don't believe in having extravagant weddings. I have told my kids to keep it as simple as possible. It will be a small family affair." he added.
Arpita, who is the adopted sister of Salman and siblings Arbaaz, Sohail and Alvira Khan Agnihotri is set to marry her long term boyfriend and upcoming actor Aayush Sharma from Delhi on 16 November.
Before meeting Sharma, Arpita was earlier romantically linked with several actors including Arjun Kapoor.
The star-studded wedding will take place in Hyderabad in a five star hotel and will be attended by several biggies from the industry. There were also reports that Salman's ex-girlfriend and "Bang Bang" star Katrina Kaif will also be attending Arpita's wedding.
The entire Khan family is currently working out every single detail of the high-profile ceremony. There were also reports that the "Kick" actor has already bought a three-bedroom terrace flat worth a few crores as gift for his sister.
Meanwhile, apart from the family function, Salman is busy shooting for Sooraj Barjatya's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" opposite Sonam Kapoor.
