The way India handled itself and helped the world recover is a turning point
"During corona, the way India handled itself and helped the world recover is a turning point," PM Modi said in reply in Lok Sabha on Motion of Thanks on President's address.
Recalling how World War II devastated the world, PM Modi said this was followed by a new world order and the formation of the United Nations (UN).
"A new world order is emerging post-corona. A new design of relationships is coming to light. We have to decide how to find a place for ourselves," PM Modi said.
"In such a situation, India will have to emerge as a strong player but we cannot make that claim solely on the basis of our population. India will have to be efficient, self-reliant to do that and the answer to that is Aatmanirbhar Bharat," he added.
