Canberra, Nov 17 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday arrived in the Australian capital Canberra, where he is scheduled to address the nation's parliament.
He was received by the Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs Julie Bishop and other dignitaries of that nation at the airport. Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi addressed people at the Allphones Arena in Sydney, where he spoke to around 16,000 people of Indian origin. After addressing the Australian parliament, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to travel to Melbourne, before departing for Fiji for the third leg of his three-nation, 10 day trip.
