Tuesday's episode of "Pretty Little Liars" gave viewers two hints about two of the most suspicious characters on the show – Charles and Andrew – revealing that while one was an imaginary friend, the other was adopted.
Digging into Andrew's past, Aria and Ezra found out that Andrew wasn't a Campbell by birth, and that he was adopted. As for Charles, Jason recollects having a friend named Charlie when he was young. But it was just an imaginary friend and Charlie wasn't seen after Mr DiLaurentis told Jason that he had to go away.
But the trailer for next week's episode shows that Mr DiLaurentis was clearly lying about Charles, as Alison is heard saying that Charles couldn't be their tormentor as he is dead.
The official synopsis of "Don't Look Now" does not give away much about the conversation Mr DiLaurentis had with his children. However, it does reveal that Kenneth finally comes clean about their family's connection to Charles. Although he doesn't reveal much, the Liars find out that the clues to Charles' identity and past is in Radley Sanitarium.
But time is running short for the girls as Radley is now closed and the files are being sent away to be shredded. "The girls must act fast before all traces of Charles' past disappear. Meanwhile, Caleb's protective nature starts to pinch Hanna, and Spencer seeks a remedy for her sleeping issues," a part of the synopsis reads.
The girls are getting closer to solving the Charles mystery, and executive producer Marlene King revealed in a recent tweet that even fans are on the right track.
"I love reading your tweets and theories tonight. More and more of you are guessing it correctly. The answer is out there," she tweeted shortly after the third episode of the season aired.
"Only 7 episodes left to put the "A" pieces together. Some of you have already solved the puzzle.…" another tweet read.
"Pretty Little Liars" airs Tuesdays on ABC Family.
