There has been enough buzz about BIGBANG members G-Dragon and his fellow band mate Taeyang's appearance on JTBC's "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator." The two have already professed their love for the Korean variety show and we cannot wait to watch what they get to eat.
In the promo for the upcoming episode, Taeyang digs into a bowl of delicious noodles, while G-Dragon's dish remains a mystery. The two appear overjoyed, and judging their expressions, we can safely say they travelled to food heaven after tasting their food.
The cooking show's new episode will be broadcast on 31 August and 7 September. Fans are already excited to watch their favourite music idols on one of Korea's famous TV shows.
The minute-long teaser released recently captures a light-hearted banter between MC Jung Hyung Don and G-Dragon. The Korean rapper says, "I'm a fan of this program," to which the host replies, "Do you watch it because of me? Because I'm so interesting?" G-Dragon comes back with a witty retort, "Jung...who?" according to Allkpop.
Reports suggest that BIGBANG members recorded their appearance on 10 August. A few weeks ago, Taeyang clicked a selfie on the sets of "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator" and posted on his Instagram account.
G-Dragon and Young Bae are already famous for their super tight friendship and their presence on the unscripted show will depict their closeness.
According to Soompi, the BIGBANG members wanted to appear on the show as early as July, as confirmed by producer Sung Hee Sung. "Just like in the teaser, G-Dragon had claimed that he enjoyed watching our show. Big Bang's side offered a request to appear on the show first, and that's how the casting was complete," reported Allkpop.
BIGBANG members are currently in China, promoting their new album on the "MADE" world tour.
