Plantain Fritters (Plantain Bajji)
Ingredients
Plantain - 2 cut into thin slices
Besan flour - 1 cup
Rice flour - 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder - 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Cooking soda a pinch
Water
Oil for frying
Method:
1. Mix Besan flour, Rice flour, Turmeric powder, Chilli powder, Salt, Cooking soda. Add water to make a batter.
2. Dip the plantain slices into the batter, coat it evenly with the batter & fry them in the hot oil.
3. Enjoy the Hot Plantain Fritters (Vazhakkai Bajji) with coffee or tea, its a great evening snacks.
