While Aamir Khan's "PK" (Peekay) did decent business on the opening day in Bengaluru and worldwide, the second-day collections for the movie were brilliant in the Garden City.

The Bollywood flick, which had 325+ shows on the first day, got a decent opening where the occupancy ranged from 40-50% for the morning shows and 55-65% for the evening shows. "PK" earned just above a crore on the release day here from the Mysore circuit, which also comprises of Bengaluru city.

As per the trader analysts, "PK" business is not up to the mark, given the star status of Aamir Khan. But this movie is not a regular commercial pot boiler and the collections are expected to improve with the each passing day. His previous release "Dhoom 3" had earned over ₹36 crore on the first day.

However, the situation changed for the better for "PK" on the second day. Following the good word-of-mouth publicity, "PK" is heading towards making huge business on Saturday. The occupancy is making a big difference as "PK" is set to easily cross 85% occupancy for all the shows in Bengaluru.

Be it the morning shows or the prime-time evening shows, "PK" is running into packed houses on the second day. There has especially been a huge demand for evening show tickets in multiplexes and majority have reserved their tickets through advance booking.

"PK" has more or less the same number of shows on the second day in Bengaluru but it might increase on Sunday due to the massive demand for tickets. The Bollywood movie is likely to make an earth-shattering business not only in Bengaluru but worldwide. Traders are curiously looking forward to Saturday's figures.
