Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Pink has continued to keep the cash registers ringing at the overseas box office and surpassed the $2 million mark in the international markets in the second weekend.
Pink has collected $333,705 from 69 screens at the US box office in its second weekend, taking its 10-day gross total to $824,210 (Rs 5.5 crore). The movie has once again topped the US business chart for the Indian movies.
In its second weekend, Pink has added $33,121 from nine screens to its 10-day gross collection $95,642 (Rs 63.76 lakh) at the Canada box office. The film has landed in the second place, while Punjabi film Dharam Yudh Morcha topped the collection chart for the Indian movies in the country. The movie has collected MYR20,083 (Rs 3.24 lakh) from three screens at the Malaysia box office.
Pink raked in AED 609,467 at the UAE box office in its second weekend and its 10-day total has reached AED3,041,808 (Rs 5.51 crore). Pink has collected A$51,532 from 13 screens at the Australia box office in its second weekend, taking its gross total to A$138,757 (Rs 70.56 lakh). Pink grossed NZ$16,143 from six screens at the New Zealand box office and its 10-day total has reached NZ$32,700 (Rs 15.8 lakh).
Pink has collected approximately a total of US$2,068,665 (Rs 13.78 crore) at the overseas box office second weekend. The Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury-directed courtroom drama has become one of biggest Bollywood money spinners of 2016 in the international markets.
