Two-week-old Bollywood movie Pink seems to be unfazed by MS Dhoni: The Untold Story as it made decent collection at the overseas box office in its third weekend.
Trade experts from the B-Town predicted that the collection of Pink would slow in the international markets in its third week, as it would clash with new releases MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Nikka Zaildar (Punjabi). The movie is unstoppable and it has made decent collection in the limited number of screens in the foreign countries like US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia
Pink collected $115,900 from 56 screens at the US box office in its third weekend and its 17-day total collection has reached $1,025,283 (Rs 6.82 crore). The movie has surpassed $1 million mark in the country. The film has raked in US$10,401 from 4 screens at the Canada box office in its third weekend, taking its 17-day total gross to US$121,148 (Rs 61.54 lakh).
In its third weekend, Pink has grossed £7,812 from 12 screens at the UK box office and its 17-day UK total is £112,927 (Rs 97.2 lakh). The Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury-directed courtroom drama has raked in A$13,414 from 10 screens at the Australia box office, taking its total gross to A$171,516 (Rs 87.24 lakh).
Pink has minted NZ$2,065 from 1 screen at the New Zealand box office in the third weekend and its 17-day total has reached NZ$38,110 (Rs 18.41 lakh). The Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu-starrer collected MYR14,057 from 3 screens at the Malaysia box office in the third weekend, taking its total to MYR 40,327 (Rs 6.5 lakh). The movie has collected AED3,041,808 (5.51 crore) at the UAE box office in 10 days.
Pink has collected approximately US$151,517 at the overseas box office in the third weekend and its 17-day total gross has reached US$2,288,521 in the key international markets.
