The makers of "Pink", starring Amitabh Bachchan, and "Banjo", starring Riteish Deshmukh, have released the movie trailers on the same day.
While the trailer of "Pink" is much intense, "Banjo" appears to be a musical drama. "Pink" has a very serious plot dealing with molestation and court complications. On the other side, "Banjo" shows how a road-side musician sets out to prove his potential on the international stage.
The trailer of Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu-starrer "Pink" has been released on YouTube, but the makers of "Banjo", starring Riteish along with Nargis Fakhri, has been made available on Eros Now first.
Directed by Shoojit Sircar, "Pink" is a movie about three girls who get molested by some boys with powerful background and how Amitabh, playing a lawyer, fights the case for the girls in the court. The trailer seems highly impressive and looks like Shoojit will come up with another master piece. The film will hit the screens on Sept. 16.
The movie "Banjo" presents Riteish as a road-side musician who has mastered the art of playing banjo. Nargis plays the character of an NRI, who comes down to Mumbai and convinces Riteish and his team to perform on the international stage. However, having come from a poor background, he and his team have to face a lot of bullying and embarrassments. How Riteish proves his mettle as a musician forms the crux of the story. Directed by Ravi Jadhav, "Banjo" is slated to be released on Sept. 23 this year.
