Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi started his bilateral engagements in Britain on Wednesday with a meeting with his British counterpart Theresa May during the course of which they discussed the bilateral relationship after Britain's exit from the European Union (EU). "The two leaders had wide-ranging talks on redefining and infusing new energy into our bilateral engagement post-Brexit," Indian External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted following the meeting at 10, Downing Street.

Modi arrived here on Tuesday night from Sweden on the second leg of his three-nation Europe tour that will also see him visiting Germany. In a special gesture, British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson received him at the airport.
