Ankita said "I come here every year and this time I wanted to make awareness that how important our parents and elders are and all they need from us is love. I always wanted to open an old age home but I think we, the youth should be responsible enough to take care of our parents and make a point that there are no such places in future. I adore them truly and they are very close to my heart".

She started 2018 with the noble cause by donating food, blankets and cloths at Jeevan Asha old age home in Veera Desai, Mumbai.
