For past four years the film Haraamkhor was delayed by the Examining Committee of the Central Board of film Certification, now the movie is an unstoppable success. The movie starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shweta Tripathi which is directed by debutant Shlok Sharma.

The movie was wrapped up in the record time of 16 days and the budget of under a crore, despite being earlier band completely from release the film was released last week across theaters in India and over the first weekend itself manage to cross the profitable margin.

The film, which was made on a restricted budget, had already recovered its cost with its distribution and digital rights release prior to its release. The collection post that has made the film a profitable success.

Now on its second week, we hear the film has not just maintained its ground at the box office but has also managed to have an incredible increase in number of shows, which is unusual for a film of its level. Looks like Nawazuddin Siddiqui's success ratio at the box office continues with this film and here wishing more success to the film of the Indie genre. When asked Nawazuddin about this he said, "I'm thrilled that a film of the scale of Haraamkhor has done great for its space. It truly represents that both the big ticket films and those who are true indie in its genre can do well simultaneously.

Haraamkhor was a special film for everyone involved and it's great to know now the press, audience and even exhibitors have liked the film and we have grown stronger in our second weekend.
