To highlight the opulence of the show, and to build authenticity around its on-screen projection, COLORS and Swastik Productions has designed extravagant and sprawling set spread across 65,000 square feet in Umbergaon near the Maharashtra-Gujarat border.

Lord Surya’s throne placed in the Surya Mahal is undoubtedly the highlight of the entire set. Made of a solid gold base with elements of black, the throne is designed to make Surya Dev stand apart whilst in front of the all-gold environment. The overall design of the throne makes it appear as if it reflects the energy emitted from the Sun into the world.
