Bangalore, February 17, 2017: International Tech Park Bangalore (ITPB) celebrated its annual Healthy Lifestyle and Sports Meet with over 3000 participants across various categories of indoor and outdoor games. The inter-corporate sporting event saw participation from 55 companies in sporting activities such as cricket, football, volleyball, throw ball, chess, carrom and other track and field games.

Living up to last year’s success, the ITPB 5K run was one of the most popular categories that witnessed participation from over 600 parkites. Speaking on the occasion Mr Sanjay Dutt, CEO-India Operations, Ascendas-Singbridge said, “We are committed to offer a healthy work-live-play environment to professionals at all Ascendas-Singbridge parks and I would encourage even more participation for this event. This popular annual event is also testimony to the parkites coming together as a community promoting healthy living.”

The 10 day event concluded with a grand finale on February 17, 2017 where Xerox Corporation was announced ‘Overall Champion of the Year’ for winning in maximum numbers of sporting categories.

Other companies who vied closely with Xerox Corporation were General Motors, First American, TCS and Mu Sigma. The Healthy Lifestyle and Sports Meet is one of the most popular events at ITPB that aims to create wider awareness about healthy living among technology professional.
