The rain also led to flooding of streets and traffic jams in several parts of Delhi. "The water-logging led to traffic congestion between Sagarpur and Dhaula Kuan, Moti Bagh metro station and other parts of the city," a Delhi Traffic Police official said. The official said a report regarding a part of the road caving-in was received from Yashwant Place in south Delhi. Traffic movement was obstructed between Hamdard Nagar and Badarpur, a road that connects Delhi with the satellite city of Faridabad, after a tree fell and a DTC bus broke down, the official said.
