Actor Harshvardhan Rane took a step towards making the city green by planting saplings across Mumbai on the World Environment Day, which falls on June 5. The activity was part of a campaign initiated by moneycontrol.com, a financial platform, and crowdfunding platform Impact Guru.

The "Sanam Teri Kasam" actor also spoke about the need for more greenery. He said in a statement: "Just like we celebrate other festivals, World Environment Day too, should be observed and given due importance. I have always been pro-tree plantation, and I encourage everyone else to do the same."
