Giving a thunderous start to the weekend was actress Anushka Sharma who made an appearance on COLORS' LIVE singing reality show Rising Star. Anushka went LIVE with her 'Phillauri' co-star and Rising Star expert Diljit Dosanjh, joining him along with experts Shankar Mahadevan and Monali Thakur for the promotion of their upcoming movie.

The highlight of the night was Anushka stepping on stage to serenade Rising Star's audience with a LIVE performance alongside Diljit to 'Naughty Billo', a new song from Phillauri.

Speaking about being a part of Rising Star, Anushka said, "I am very happy to have launched Phillauri's new song 'Naughty Billo' first on TV on Rising Star with my co-star Diljit Dosanjh who has also sung it while I have rapped in it for the very first time! Hope you like it. Rising Star has taken mainstream entertainment to a whole new level.

To go LIVE every weekend, without any cuts or retakes is quite path-breaking. The thrill is comparable to the LIVE performances and concerts that we, as actors, partake in. It's this adrenaline rush that has even made us perform Naughty Billo LIVE on Colors! It was amazing to go out there and do it knowing there are no cuts, no retakes and that we had to give it our best and mail our performance.
