"Phir Bhi Na Maane ... Badtameez Dil" that went off air from Star Plus channel is currently airing on digital platform Hotstar. It has become the first Indian television show to be aired exclusively on Hotstar.
With the show running successfully on Hotstar, the makers have decided to add some spice to the ongoing track.
It has been reported that the show will soon have a new cast member, who will apparently create problems in Abeer (Pearl V Puri) and Meher's (Asmita Sood) life.
Arjun Singh, who was last seen in Channel V's "Best Friends Forever", will play the character of Akshat, who will fall in love with Meher.
Confirming the news, Arjun told Telly Chakkar: "Yes I am entering Badtameez Dil. Being young in age, I can sense the wave thats coming in, with regards to viewership online. I am happy to be a part of this show."
It now remains to be seen if the entry of Akshat in Meher's life will create further troubles for Abeer and Meher. Will viewers' favourite actor Pearl get sidelined? Only time will tell.
On Star Plus, "Phir Bhi Na Maane ... Badtameez Dil" has been replaced by Balaji Telefilms' new show "Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan" that has Vibhav Roy and Shritama Mukherjee in the lead roles.
