Chinese smartphone maker Phicomm has launched a budget handset dubbed as Energy 653 in India.
Energy 653 is the second phone from Phicomm; the company had previously released a feature-rich mid-range device Passion 660 back in June.
The new Energy 653 sports 5.0-inch HD display and runs on the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS backed by 1.1GHZ Snapdragon 210 quad-core SoC (System on Chip), Adreno 304 graphics engine, 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage and 2230 mAh battery.
It also houses an 8mp camera with LED flash on the rear-side and a 2mp snapper in the front.

The new Phicomm Energy P653 is exclusively sold on Amazon India for just Rs.4,999. It's a smart buy for anybody who is looking to migrate from feature phone to smartphone.
Competition:
With an aggressive price-tag of just Rs.4,999, Energy P653 is the most affordable 4G based HD smartphone. Its rival ZTE Blade Qlu 4 comes with 4.5-inch FWGA (854x480p) display. Phicomm's new phone is also poised to give stiff challenge to the popular Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) and Xiaomi Redmi 2.
