The makers of "Phantom" starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif have released the official trailer of the film and it looks impressive. Directed by Kabir Khan, "Phantom" is based on the 2008 Mumbai terror attack and global terrorism.
"Phantom" first poster was released recently and without much delay, the makers have launched the official trailer as well.
The trailer starts with glimpses of the 2008 Mumbai terror attack and then follows the actual film's trailer. Based on S Hussain Zaidi's novel "Mumbai Avengers", the film asserts on the need to eliminate terror groups and people responsible for the Mumbai attack without any trial.
The country's security forces appoint an "insane" man, Saif Ali Khan, who is convicted of murder, to take up the covert mission of eliminating the persons involved in the terror attack as they resolve that the "the biggest terrorist in Pakistan will never face trial".
Citing the example of America that killed Osama Bin Laden in a secret operation, Saif Ali Khan stresses that if the US can do it, then why can't India and thus, jumps into the mission of killing all those responsible for the attack at any cost. Katrina Kaif somehow gets involved in the dangerous mission.
The trailer of "Phantom" makes us believe that the movie will involve a lot of action sequences which look impressive enough. After the superhit film "Baby", we can expect to have another worth- watching film on terrorism and this time it will be Saif-Katrina's "Phantom".
The movie has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and is slated to be released on 28 August.
