The trailer of director Kabir Khan's "Phantom" was released on Saturday. The movie has Katrina Kaif and Saif Ali Khan in the lead.
The first look poster of the film had already made audience curious, where the glamorous Katrina and Bollywood hunk Saif were seen blindfolded with an Indian flag and carrying bruises on their faces.
Based on Hussain Zaidi's novel "Mumbai Avengers", "Phantom" is about the aftermath of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks and deals with global terrorism. The trailer video showed the actors in action. The duo had earlier shared screen space for Abbas-Mustan's blockbuster "Race" (2008).
In "Phantom", Saif is playing the character of Daniyal, who promises to enter the house of Hariz Saeed and kill him.
The film, which is slated to be released on 28 August, is a joint production of Sajid Nadiadwala and Siddharth Roy Kapur.
Meanwhile, the trailer has been praised by viewers including Bollywood celebs and critics. They lauded Kabir, who has already delivered the blockbuster hit "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", on social media.
