Peter Dinklage, the phenomenal actor who has starred in many impactful films such as "Elf", "Death at a Funeral" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past", celebrates his 46th birthday on Thursday, 11 June. Born in New Jersey, Dinklage currently lives in Manhattan with his wife Erica Schimdt, a theatre director, and daughter Zelig, born in 2011.

Although he has given many iconic performances during his lucrative career, he is best known for his role as the incomparable Tyrion Lannister in the HBO fantasy series "Game of Thrones".  Tyrion, the youngest son of Tywin Lannister, is a dwarf, who uses his wit and sharp intellect to get by in the prejudiced world of Westeros.
