A series of blasts reportedly rocked the Pakistani city of Peshawar on Tuesday afternoon. Authorities in Pakistan are yet to confirm the incident.
The first report of the blast came from a Pakistani social media user - Mashalayy, who claimed that there were at least five blasts in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan.
Later Breakingnews.com also reported: "Series of blasts heard in Peshawar, Pakistan; no indication of cause or casualties."
The story is still developing and more information is awaited.
A report on Tuesday said that security has been heightened in Peshawar, which is among the most sensitive districts, ahead of Muharram.
Another report said that the police arrested at least seven suspected militants from Peshawar as part of the security drive taken up ahead of Muharram.
Third blast heard, oh fourth too now! But the fourth one wasn't as loud as the other 3. #peshawar
