"PES 2017," the upcoming football simulation video game from Konami, is rumoured to feature a new English Premier League (EPL) team. An announcement with regards to a new team is likely at the upcoming Gamescom 2016.
The confirmation of a new EPL team to "PES 2017" has been revealed by none other than Adam Bhatti, community managers for the PES series in an interview to Squawka.
When pressed for further clues, Bhatti asked them to wait until Gamescom 2016. Gamescom 2016 will begin from Aug. 17 and will be running until Aug. 21. This event will be taking place in Cologne, Germany.
Arsenal has already been licensed for "PES 2017" video game.
Gamescom 2016 will be featuring a playable demo of "PES 2017" at the annual gaming event. The event will also see Konami releasing the full stadium list. It has been reported that this year's list will be bigger than "PES 2016."
Moreover, the EPL season started last week with Manchester United and Liverpool registering wins against Bournemouth and Arsenal, respectively. Chelsea too registered their win against West Ham.
"PES 2017" is expected to be released on Sept. 15 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS4.
