"PES 2017" the upcoming football simulation video game from Konami was recently in news for having bagged a big club like FC Barcelona as official partner club. However, Konami has revealed sad news for PC gamers.
The PC version of "PES 2017" will not be on par with the console version of the game. This was revealed by Adam Bhatti, PES's community manager on Twitter.
"We've answered many times, it's a shame you haven't seen it. Do not expect it same level as PS4/Xbone."
This will be a hard news for gamers to swallow. This is mainly because, consoles like PS4 and Xbox One make use of better game engines but the PC version uses an older one. The PC game engine is reported to be better than the ones in PS3 and Xbox 360.
Bhatti assured PC gamers that Konami was working to see that the gameplay is the same in all the versions.
When compared with PS3 or Xbox One versions, the PC version of the game will feature better frame-rate and resolution, this is despite the fact that it is running on an older game engine.
"PES 2017's" cover features FC Barcelona stars like Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, Ivan Rakitic and Gerard Pique.
"PES 2017" is expected to be released on Sept. 13 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
