Television industry's current heartthrob Karan Patel and his wife Ankita Bhargava opened up about their marriage for the first time in an interview.

Karan and Ankita met on the sets of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" in January and within five months they got married. But since the time the couple announced that they would tie the knot, there were speculations about their relationship.

Reports were also doing the rounds that Karan and his then girlfriend Kamya Punjabi parted ways due to the actor's infidelity. 

However, Karan's wife Ankita told a leading daily that people who judge the actor don't really know him.

"No one should comment on anybody's marriage and sometimes, I feel that people can't see others happy. People who judge Karan don't really know him. They pass judgement on what they hear of him. He is a different person at home, very sorted," Ankita told The Times of India.

Karan also said that people who believe that his marriage won't work would be disappointed.

"There is something like destiny. I don't really care if people doubt or express shock over whether our marriage will work. People might be surprised because I settled for an arranged marriage, but that's what's chosen for us. Secondly, all those people who think that this will not work, sorry to say, but they will be disappointed," he said.
