Indian tablet PC maker Pantel Technologies expanded its T-pad series with the launch of Penta T-Pad WS707C tablet.

The company's new tablet runs on Android Jelly Bean OS and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A9 processor.

Pantel claims that the Penta T-Pad WS707C is India's first EDGE (Enhanced Data rates for Global Evolution) based tablet. The EDGE technology is used for increasing data transmission rates for GSM based devices.
